The Anesis sandal features a toe joe that securely keeps your toe in place while also being able to slip on and go. PolyPro rope combines twist with durability and strength. The material flexes with your movements without stretching the sandal out of shape. It's all rope top to bottom – no rubber sole! Our rope becomes softer after repeated wear. Looks tough, yet super-light – weighs under 10 ounces! Knotty texture feels soft, not scratchy, on your sockless foot. Will fit wide feet comfortably a half-size up.

With rope made in North Carolina out of partially reclaimed PolyPro cord, our Anesis sandals are vegan and cruelty-free. The sandals are then handcrafted by artisans in Nicaragua to wrap around your feet in eco-friendly style. Our rope sandals are machine washable and can be safely spun in your dryer, too. Colorfast dyes won't fade in the wash. Or air-dry them for that all-natural vibe. Looks great on the beach; but avoid getting sandal wet.

Are Nomadic State of Mind's products cruelty-free? Our products are created with recycled materials such as rope, sails and coffee sacks. Each piece contributes to our "No Scraps Left Behind" program that aims to reduce our manufacturing waste by creating products with leftover scraps. Where do you get the rope for your sandals? We make the rope in North Carolina, and it is partly reclaimed polypropylene cord. We found the polypropylene to be the best and most consistent option for making quality sandals. What are your soles made from? After researching and some trial and error we ended up finding Vibram soles to be the best option. We chose Vibram due to the years that Vibram has been soling shoes around the world. Is your packaging as eco-conscious as your products? Excessive packaging is just worthless. There is no "shoebox", which we feel is a waste of both money and cardboard.
